Noticeboard for UK
LIGHTS,
CAMERA, INTER-ACTION
An intensive 2-day workshop for
choreographers and interdisciplinary performance makers interested
in making movement-based work that integrates projected imagery
with particular focus on the software Isadora. We will explore the
integration of still and moving images with performance using both
old tech (projectors/OHPs/lights) and new tech (digital
video/image capture and projection). The workshop will be studio-based
whilst also using LMU's well equipped digilab where performance
technologies designer Ian Willcock will give a hands on seminar
exploring the multiple possibilities of Isadora. Informed by new
scientific insights we will consider the impact of technological
possibilities in the shaping of new performance through experimenting,
making and presenting digital performance.
